August’s client appreciation event was certainly a blast! The evening started with some delicious Sangria made by Jack Haynes, that went along beautifully with some outstanding appetizers provided by Joyful Cookie Company, and Melissa Haynes. As some swingin’ jazz filled the air, we mixed and mingled until all attendees had arrived. As stylists, we all marveled at the outrageous amount of space and light our new white walls that we just painted seem to have afforded us.

Leticia welcomed everyone warmly and explained the nature of the class, after which Lauren, the Educational Director of the salon, began a very informative class called “Five Tips to the Perfect Blow-out.” In addition to being truly helpful, it was also a pretty funny presentation. She had the owners of the salon laughing aloud.

After the class, we split off into groups and went to different stations the stylists had set up. We showed the clients iron techniques, how to hold a brush and blowdryer, the proper tension, use of product and much more. After the small groups, we offered deeply discounted products and appointment bookings.

Thanks to all the clients that came. We had a blast teaching you something new!
